[Bug 205420] Re: Partition Name showns wrongly in Places Menu/Nautilus
I agree, I think the user should have a choice of naming all the partition in media "disk-#" or by label, but this would give too many options to the user and gnome is mainly trying to have more simplicity. I think the reason it displays the size is due to a limitation, not being able to read the label until the partition is mounted. [Bug 254413] Re: [needs-packaging] Instantbird in Universal in Intrepid
debs for hardy and intrepid are in my PPA. This is not usable in Debian as it depends on two Ubuntu specific packages: - xulrunner-1.9.1 (planed for Jaunty) - mozilla-devscripts (in since Hardy) mozilla-devscripts is required to use the "build-system" that we ship in our xulrunner since 1.9.0.* in Intrepid. [Bug 286014] [NEW] kde print ignores duplex & copy options
Public bug reported: When printing in KDE 4 (Kubuntu 8.10 Intrepid Ibex Beta), print options like duplex and copy number are ignored. For example, if I try to print two copies of a two-page document from Okular with duplex enabled, I end up with only one copy and no duplex. Print options are also ignored by Konqueror and, I suspect, probably all KDE 4 applications. This is a regression from KDE 3 in Kubuntu 8.04 Hardy Heron. If this bug isn't unique to my printer, then it ought to be a release blocker unless it's impossibly difficult to fix. I'm using system-config-printer-kde 0.11, KDE 4.1.2, from the Kubuntu 8.10 Beta CD on an x86_64 machine. Same problem with Japanese input via the anthy input engine. Using Kubuntu 8.10 (Intrepid Ibex) Beta on an x86_64 machine, installed Japanese language pack, and manually started skim. The skim configuration panel indicates that the anthy input method is enabled, but pressing Ctrl+Space doesn't do anything in any KDE application (Kate, Konqueror, etc.). Also, left-clicking on the skim panel icon brings up an empty list; it's supposed to bring up a list of enabled input methods. [Bug 286014] [NEW] kde print ignores duplex & copy options
You have been subscribed to a public bug: When printing in KDE 4 (Kubuntu 8.10 Intrepid Ibex Beta), print options like duplex and copy number are ignored. The printer in question is a Brother HL-5250DN using the BR-Script3 PPD. ** Affects: kdebase (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- kde print ignores duplex & copy options https://bugs.edge.launchpad.net/bugs/286014 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to kdebase in ubuntu. -- kubuntu-bugs mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/kubuntu-bugs

[Bug 267932] Re: Panel Launcher Crashes when Network File is Opened
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. However, your crash report is either missing or challenging to deal with as a '.crash' file. Please follow these instructions to have apport report a new bug about your crash that can be dealt with by the automatic retracer. If you are running the Ubuntu Stable Release you might need to enable apport in /etc/default/apport and restart. If you are using Ubuntu with the Gnome desktop environment - launch nautilus and navigate to your /var/crash directory and double click on the crash report you wish to submit. If you are using Kubuntu or Xubuntu you can file the crash using /usr/share/apport/apport-qt --crash-file=/var/crash/_my_crash_report.crash in a terminal - where _my_crash_report.crash is the crash you would like to report. I'm closing this bug report since the process outlined above will automatically open a new bug report which can then dealt with more efficiently.
