[Bug 1594291] [NEW] Gnome-todo menu's name missing
Public bug reported: 1) Ubuntu 16.04 LTS 2) Version of software: Gnome-todo 3.18.1-2 3) I expect to see the main menu of Gnome-Todo (called "Tâches" in french) displaying the name of the app, ie. [Bug 1570752] [NEW] Two "terminal" menus with duplicates
Public bug reported: 1)In Ubuntu 16.04 Unity 64 bits, 2)with Gnome Terminal 3.18.3, 3) there should be only one "terminal" dropdown menu (the one on the right) 4) there are two terminal dropdown menus, and the one on the left is totally useless since it contains duplicates entries from other menus, like I listed below: - New terminal : like in File -> Open a terminal - Preferences : like in Edit -> Preferences - Help : like in Help -> Summary - About : like in Help -> About - Exit : like in File -> Close all terminal The solution would be to suppress this menu since all the entries inside are already somewhere else. Note : Since my Ubuntu is in french, some menus name may not be exactly matching the one you have, but it should not be a real problem for your understanding of the situation. ** Affects: gnome-terminal (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1570752 Title: Two "terminal" menus with duplicates To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-terminal/+bug/1570752/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 129860] Re: two xorg processes with fglrx
Jacek, that won't help I think. I tried the same and the inactive one will stay as a zombie process so you won't retrieve that wasted memory. From my point of view, either the memory is needed somehow, or the other Xorg process (which is the parent of the other one) just doesn't care about this second Xorg. -- two xorg processes with fglrx https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/129860 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 108225] Re: Random lockups in Feisty when using Atheros WLAN AR5212 802.11abg
In my case, my problem disappeared long time ago and I don't know how it happened. I guess it was an update what fixed it. Anyway, just in case it serves you, I'm running the 2.6.22-15-generic kernel and, currently, I don't have any issues with my integrated broadcom 4306 or my atheros PCMCIA. -- Random lockups in Feisty when using Atheros WLAN AR5212 802.11abg https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/108225 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 108225] Re: Random lockups in Feisty when using Atheros WLAN AR5212 802.11abg
I had the same problem with my Broadcom (Inspiron 8600) but it didn't happen with my atheros. I think it's a NetworkManager problem. After a month with the Broadcom disabled I tried again yesterday and, so far, it has been a day without any problem using the Broadcom so I guess that an update has fixed the problem. -- Random lockups in Feisty when using Atheros WLAN AR5212 802.11abg https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/108225 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

Interesting because for me it happened all the way around, It worked perfect in Feisty and it started giving troubles when I upgraded to Gutsy. [Bug 108225] Re: Random lockups in Feisty when using Atheros WLAN AR5212 802.11abg
I have the same issue than Severn Clay. When I'm using my Broadcom 4306 eventually my keyboard locks up but I can still use my computer with the mouse. The only thing that work in the keyboard are the Ctrl + Alt + SysRq combinations which are needed because, when I try to restart with the keyboard locked it usually freezes when it displays: * Now It will restart. [Bug 153050] Re: Workspace switcher ignores configured number of rows
Do you use brightside? If so, this could be the same bug as #147531. It happens the same to me but it seems that it's caused by brightside. My workaround is to kill the brightside process (you should mark it to no-restart and remove it from the session manager), change again the number of rows and, if you want to, start brightside manually. The problem is that you should start brightside manually everytime you restart your computer. -- Workspace switcher ignores configured number of rows https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/153050 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
