Seems like you're having a problem with acceleration. Can you test ppa:canonical-x/x-staging ? Ok so the bug seems to be that syndaemon -R doesn't work correctly, sometimes not finding keys if you're unlucky. I'm pushing out a updated xserver-xorg-input-synaptics to fix this. Hm looking some more, gnome-settings-daemon runs syndaemon with -t which is 'disable tapping and scrolling'. The moving the mouse is still allowed in that case, hardware buttons too. But scrolling and using tap to click shouldn't be. Keys used with modifiers are ignored by syndaemon too, it's passed by gnome-settings-daemon. Is this what you're experiencing? The second bug was definitely a dupe, the problem seems to be with threaded opengl. Nouveau does not currently support this.. The following hack fixes the issue in a nasty way by creating separate screen objects with the same drm device. libdrm is only thread-safe with libdrm 2.4.54 or later. This probably won't break vdpau, though I'm not completely sure.. I think the XIDeviceEvent.sourceid would tell you from which device it originates. I found a way to reproduce this specific bug at least. Run xorg-server in valgrind to slow it down, hammer on the touchpad like an idiot and the touchpad buttons too. Run chvt 1 to switch away but keep hammering. So all things being equal, 8f and 8b differ only in depth, and since you set GLX_DEPTH_SIZE.. GLX_DEPTH_SIZE: Must be followed by a nonnegative minimum size specification. If this value is zero, frame buffer configurations with no depth buffer are preferred. Otherwise, the largest available depth buffer of at least the minimum size is preferred. The default value is 0. No, just that the test as you've written shows the correct behavior. The old behavior didn't care about depth, and was wrong. Oh right, libudev is no longer linked directly, but loaded through dlsym to keep up with the problem of different libudev libraries being loaded in the same process.
