RE: [UC] Suspicious Looking Character

2005-04-15 Thread HBW
Hmm,

Walking dog around the block lingering until it pees?

Very suspicious.

This evening there was a older African American man (40s or 50s, heavy set,
about 5'6" or 5"7") on our street (4600 block of Larchwood) walking with a
rotweiller dog, off the leash. This was the second time he was seen
lingering on the street and appears to be up to no good (i.e., possibly
casing houses). I would suggest that everyone keep a look out for him.

Andy, Sam, perhaps you would be interested in taking some vigilante action
while exercising your Second Amendment "rights"?

Re: "...perhaps you would be interested in taking some vigilante action

For the record:
I find it highly offensive even to joke about using a gun to intimidate - or
shoot - someone simply because he's a stranger, even a "suspicious" one. To
do so in a public forum makes it worse.

If that isn't enough of a deterrent from making casual and callous
statements, keep this in mind: you never know how long that e-mail will
live. Or how many copies have been made of it, how many archives it may
appear in years from now, or how far in the future it may come back to
embarrass or harm.
