Hi, Normally a page push is that the server can pushes to the client more than one page at the same time. The client side of Internet Explorer is or was not ready for this functionality. Hello, VERSION 09.04 In a certain category products screen in the catalog manager i have added products. However a certain product x is visualised 10 times in that screen. Also in the catalog page in the ecommerce site i have this product x 10 times visualised. Payment Method: xyz Service Type: External Payment (no service) Payment Props: payment.properties Apply to All: Y I inserted in the file payment.properties (C:\ ... \applications\accounting\config\payment.properties the same properties as for PayPal but i changed the name of Paypal anywhere in xyz. I will write later on a similar java file like PayPalEvents.java but then for xyz (C:\ ... \applications\accounting\src\org\ofbiz\accounting\thirdparty\paypal). But when i try to pay a command in the ecommerce website, i get showed as payment possiblities only PayPal and never xyz also. thanks, I will do that but first of all: I have this problem already for a while. And it is possible that i used the ireport editor to have a look at some definition files. Do i need to put the TrackingCodeEvents.java file (from within the marketing component) in the EVENT tag in the ecommerce controller on every line in order to work? The screen def and template files should be the most helpful there. You should be able to see it functioning by ordering the Digital Gizmo and then go to that page to download the digital file associated with it. Hello, I use the ofbiz application and embedded tomcat server behind a Apache webserver. I am wondering that webpages on the Apache web server are very fast and webpages from the ofbizapplication are very slow. My database behind the application is MYSQL. I use 4 GB central memory with a Q6600 Quad Core Intel Processor on Windows Vista. Is it normal ? How to speed up the ofbiz application? If you try my pages you will see i have only 1 page in 5 seconds, i guess. No i didn't tune the caching. It is rather difficult stuff for me. Yes, i know Linux is better but i am not a specialist in Linux. But i am not using a separate server for the database? I thought my workstation has enough power and memory to do it on the same machine. Should it be better to separate the db on a separate machine? The static content is separated and directly accessible from the Apache server. You mean in the startup command? I don't know by heart. I am at a distance from my (remote) server now. What do you propose for a 4 GB central memory? With Vista 32 bit only 3 GB is addressable. I used CATEGORY CONTENT CATEGORY NAME: PREPARE CREATE I create the text for the category name for for example English. Then i create the text for the category name for for example French. and so on. Then in the CONTENT under tab CONTENT for this text , i chose ASSOCIATION and i chose EDIT CONTENT ASSOCIATION and ALTERNATE LOCALE so that the language is automatically changed when needed. BUT i don't have this possibilities for CATALOGUS There is no screen in ofbiz to do the same things for CATALOGI. Hi again, It is solved. The problem is that my name and address used for the purchase are put on France temporarily. In the database in the TaxAuthorityRateProduct table there are three records with no productStoreId filled in. So they count for each Store. And these ones have TaxAuthGeoId = FRA When i changed the country of my address with which i did the purchase, to Belgium, the problem was solved. The tax was calculated with exactly 21 %. So solution is to delete for sure these three records in the TaxAuthorityRateProduct table which don't point to any special ProductStoreId. No, i think it was installed automatically. But i used ofbizNeogia before and converted the database and upgraded to ofbiz4.0. That is the reason. ofbiz table Work_effort problem in derby database
hello, I have a problem with the work_effort table in the ofbiz database (derby).
