Hello James, If you are raising a purchase order then you have to give the warehouse address where you will be receiving the purchase order's products through Facility Manager by clicking at Facility Manager- Select your facility. Then through ContactMechs tabs, you have to add the address and set the Contact Purposes as Shipping Destination Address, so that this address will remain for orders only, other addresses you can set through Party Manager Module. Hello Anil, To create a production run for a product which is dependent on other products, you have to create a BOM and while creating assign the product to field with dependent productid and when you create a production run for final finished good, dependent production runs will automatically appear under Assocs tab. Please go through the following example for more clearity: Basket ball production needs production of two dependent Good i.e. Basket ball's bladder and basket ball's knob. First create the BOM for dependent products i.e. Bladder and Knob and then create a production run for them. Then for finally finished good i.e. basket ball , create a BOM, choose product id to field as dependent product ids(like bladder's id and knob's id). Hello Naveen Relationship tab defines the relationship between two parties, whenever party loggs in he will be able to view the parties belong to him. Like If a Company group has number of employees, vendors etc; he can set their relationship with Company Group, through this tab to access the information As you have mentioned about the example of Test Person, Test person who will be a employee to Party group A could be a customer with Part Group B so while creating this party you have to set his role as employee after this Test Person loggins, click at Relationship Tab. Here you will be presented with a form named Add Other Party Relationship, where you can add as many as relationships with other parties depending upon process of your application. First of all thanks for your reply, I have specified the routing task for QA on particular product whose product type is WIP, but the problem is that WIP items are not received in inventory, only finished goods are receivable so it is not possible to set the defected status for the intermediate products or WIP products. Secondly when Production Run is at its running stage it has only two steps Start Complete but how to introduce a QA process in between. Hi All Yes, it is possible to manage products and its prices through Catalog manager module but I am not very sure about subscription management feature in Ofbiz. Hello Users, We are seeking help in knowing costing process in manufacturing in detail. Following is what we did: We have created a Production run without using any default formulas in BOM (Bill of Material) and Cost. We have specify the cost of raw material and defined the standard cost (Standard Setup and usage cost) of fixed assets. As production run of default PROD_COST displays the Actual Route (fixed asset usage) Cost, but production run for our product only shows Actual Material Cost but does not show any Actual Route (fixed asset usage) Cost. Hello Asgaut, In order to import the product data, you need to focus on two things.. First, study which tables and columns are used by OFBiz in order to add a product to the database. Also, which fields are mandatory in those tables. Secondly, study all the data, which need to be imported and available to you (by your client). Once you study all that.. you have to create the XML files, containing all the import data. Now you can import the newly created xml file(s) to the OFBiz database from web tools. Three parties will be involved in process – Vendor, Supplier for product you want to paint and your company. Create a company for yourself and assign it a role Internal organization and customer Set up your company, chart of accounts, GL Default Type Id, and Time period or financial year. Create a product PAINTING with Product Type as Service and assign supplier (vendor) to it through Supplier tab in Product detail page. Now create products you want to paint and set up suppliers for it. Assign product with supplier through supplier tab in product detail page. Then raise a purchase order for these products. Receive the inventory in your warehouse. Now login as vendor then setup company ,warehouse1 to receive the product and warehouse 2 for painted products. Now login as your company and Now transfer the inventory from your warehouse to warehouse1 through Inventory Xfers tab. Now vendor will transfer the products from warehouse1 to warehouse2 after painting and assigning them some new product ids. Now again your company have to login and create product with painted product id and set up the supplier or vendor and then again raise the purchase order and receive back inventory for painted products into your warehouse. Deletion of username is not possible but disabling any username is possible. as this will not allow the person to login with that username. This can be done by editing a username, then through the bottom panel 'Update UserLogin Security Settings'. Endicia Integration
Hello users, I need your help on one point. Is it possible to use endicia with ofbiz? Endicia is a software which online places orders and prints the labels of USPS. My concern is, is it possible to use endicia with OFBiz? if someone has done this before or have any idea, please guide. Problem in Quick Checkout under IE
Hello members, As a ofbiz user i want to place an order in ofbiz, normal checkout with user login is working fine in both Firefox and Internet Explorer , but during QuickCheckout all the steps are working fine but i face problem in final step under Internet Explorer (working fine in Firefox), at Checkout Review page when i press submit button at bottom of page, IE does not show any processing and shows error in javascript with no detail at all and also does not place order. Please help me regarding this problem. POS sync ofbiz
I am facing the problem in POS syncing with the MCS database. I am running POS in windown XP and run ofbiz on another linux PC with different database. How can we set the RMIIF variable. I am trying to make syncing directly from MCS to POS exclude PSS. Login for party
For Project Management, Through Party Module , I have created party group party create employee link employee to party group. Then asigned security options to user id i.e. Project Admin Project User. Now after logging out from admin credentials I want to login again as employee with its credentials but not able to login.
