Well, 56 ton requires a really big forklift truck. Maybe too expensive for
most users?
Or maybe the comma is a decimal separator, just like it is in about half of
all the countries in the world, making it 56 kg and not a gram more or
less. Then only a friend is needed. Together they can lift it without
destroying their backs, I think.

You can enter whatever you want in that box, even decimal values. The
lowest number appears to be 2, because if you enter anything lower it will
be changed to 2.
I did a quick test by typing HHH and let each H be different sizes
from 3.0 to 4.0. When checking their sizes afterwards, some are changed, so
they are instead 3.0, 3.0, 3.2, 3.2, 3.4, 3.5, 3.5, 3.7, 3.7, 3.9, 4.0

Entering 5 % just gets the %-character removed.
Zooming to 600 %, even size 2 pt can easily be read.

I tried this with the following fonts:
Arial
Deja vu sans
Free Sans
Liberation Sans
Times New Roman
Ubuntu

My experience is that the smallest is 2pt. It's colour might also be set to
white to make it completely visually invisible/

Ok, you obviously mean kB or KiB. The difference is not very big, but I
guess kB, so we are talking about 56 MB here, which is exactly 56·10⁶ B.
Then I'm also assuming your comma character is a thousands separator and
not a decimal separator – even though that's not the case in about half of
all the countries in the world, mine included.

Yes, that's indeed a very big file. Way too big to attach anywhere, I
think. Files attached to this mailing list are usually stripped off, no
matter what size they are, so if you want someone to have a look at them,
you need to upload them somewhere and provide a link to them.

If you can't open a file just because there's a file in the same folder
with its name ending with ”.lock”, just remove that file and try again.
That file is there to prevent someone else to open the file in edit mode
when it's already opened by someone else. If Apache OpenOffice crash during
editing, the lock file is probably not removed automatically, therefore you
need to remove it manually.

However, you should be able to open the USB version, since there is
probably no lock file on it…

There is an attached locked file of 1kg. It is a big file 56,000kg.

That's far to heavy to lift by one person, probably you can hire a
forklift truck.

I also have the same file on the computer -I made a copy of the usb,
but I am unable to open it.

Up to a certain point, depending on the font you are using. Highlight
the text you want affected and then adjust the point size. To do
this, in the tool bar near the top of the window, there is a box with
the name of the font (the default is Times New Roman) and next to that
is a box with the point size in effect (12 is the default). Click on
the arrow to the right of this 12 and select a smaller number. Some
fonts can be made smaller than others.

The smallest size you can select is 6 pt, but if you enter in the box 5%
it get even smaller.

Even if you zoom to the maximum you can't read it anymore.

Re: Probleme mit OO seit dem Patchday

2016-07-17 Thread Apo

Hallo Eberhard,

die Funktion "öffnen mit" bezieht sich auf das Öffnen einer Datei über
den Explorer per Rechtsklick.
Windows (ich habe Win 7) bietet standardmäßig einige Programme zur
Auswahl an.

Viel Erfolg!
