For each of those “combined” migration scripts I just added a big fat warning that prompts the user, to ensure nobody runs them by mistake again. Let me restate, the “combined” data model is *optional* and is not part of any standard upgrade routine. -- Patrice Levesque pleves...@inverse.ca :: +1.514.447.4918 *140 :: http://inverse.ca Inverse inc. :: Leaders behind SOGo (http://sogo.nu) and PacketFence (http://packetfence.org) signature.asc Description: Digital signature

[SOGo] SQL and MailFieldNames
Hello everybody, I understand that it is possible to use MailFieldNames for an SQL UserSource to add additional fields, that each contain one address. Unfortunately a user may have an undefined number of aliases and I want each user to be able to use all of his aliases. So I looked for a way to combine all aliases residing in a certain table to be CONCATENATED in one field of the users view. Using GROUP_CONCAT, I now have a field containg all aliases, but I cannot find any way SOGo actually uses this single field as an array. Is there any way to get this working? Best regards, Jesse -- users@sogo.nu https://inverse.ca/sogo/lists
Re: [SOGo] Updating...
Hello, i had the same problem, with postgres script : db update removes all user tables. It seems a critical bug : if this is the result expected, a big warning should be printed before the execution, otherwise a patch is needed to keep user data safe. On 30 May 2016 at 12:00, from Christian Mack : Hello Those db scripts are only neccessary, if you want to change your db schema to 9 Tables. After doing so, you have to change your SOGo config accordingly. Am 28.05.2016 um 19:21 schrieb Azam Premji (blueb...@gmail.com): Thanks André. After the upgrade I got the following message: SOGo database schemas are _not_ automatically upgraded by the packaging system. So I guessed the script to run after the install. And from the directory list there were two maybe possible for my install: sql-update-3.0.0-to-combined-mysql.sh sql-update-3.0.0-to-combined.sh I checked MariaDB and SOGo had 53 tables. After running the script it has 9. Since I’m using MariaDB I ran sql-update-3.0.0-to-combined-mysql.sh which gave the the output: Merging tables Patching /etc/sogo/sogo.conf…. Now no users have any Calendar items though the Calendars themselves exist. And for most users they have lost their address books. Our users are drawn from LDAP and they are able to login using the Web UI but nothing shows up in the Global Address List. Before we could search users in this Global Address List. Does this mean there is a new method to enter user sources in SOGo.conf/defaults? -- users@sogo.nu https://inverse.ca/sogo/lists

That seems to be an ActiveSync one. The watchdog will kill that worker, if it does not respond in time, in order to prevent hanging processes. Perhaps that is an initial sync with a big account via ActiveSync. They can take some time and eat resources. Check the corresponding settings in sogo.conf (and apache/nginx conf). When setting up Active Sync (Outlook 2016 and iPhone 5) the shared calendar is not displayed as it did when the same was done with SOGo v2.3.x I have a stock standard setup from packages installed via yum on CentOS 7. Nothing concerning the calendar are displayed in the logs. Any hints where I might start looking, perhaps a setting that needs to be enabled in sogo.conf?
