Re: iPad split screen with VoiceOver

2014-12-03 Thread Andrew Lamanche
Hi,

On the ipad, because the screen is larger, the list of your messages in the
chosen mailbox is always visible on the screen on the left handside. The
larger portion of the screen displays the content of the message. Then in a
small strip at the top and bottom of the screen, you have some buttons which do
various things. It took me a while to get used to this. What I do normally,
is double-tap the message which I want to read, and then touch the screen in
the larger portion on th right. I hear Voiceover say “message” and I can read
the content using normal gestures. If I’m done with the message, I either
delete it using the delete button above the body of the message, or move my
finger to the left edge of the screen to choose another message. With practice
you are sure to get used to finding the body of the message quickly.
The use of the container rotor item works well as well but I find it faster to
touch the body of the message which takes voiceover focus into that part of the
screen and away from the message list.

Hope this will help somewhat.

RE: bluetooth speakers for O-and-M training

2014-12-03 Thread Sieghard Weitzel
Hi Richard,

I have a small bluetooth speaker called the “Buckshot” from Outdoor Technology.
It is about 3.5 inches long and 1.5 inches in diameter and it weighs in at a
bit over 5 ounces. It has a rubbery, grippy outer layer, the speaker is on one
end and on the other you have volume up/down and a play/pause button which
doubles as accept/hangup for a phone call since that speaker also has a
microphone. This is by far the best small speaker I have found and I went to a
fabric shop which also does sewing and asked them to make me a Velcro strap
which wraps around the shoulder strap of my backpack and attached to it is a 2
inch wide sleeve made from an elastic material in which I can stick the
speaker. This way the speaker is vertical against my shoulder strap with the
top at about shoulder height. I can easily reach the buttons underneath and
it’s only about 6 or 8 inches from my ear. I use it all the time when I walk
home to listen to audio books as I usually don’t meet too many people where I
live. Even if somebody passes me, the speaker is close enough to my ear so I
can set the volume to a level where you wouldn’t hear much from more than 5 or
6 feet away. Of course it works great for GPS announcements and if it’s noisy
with lots of traffic the volume on that speaker does go pretty loud. You can
find it on Amazon or go to www.OutdoorTech.com .
Oh, another advantage of that speaker is that it is water proof at least as far
as rain and such is concerned. You can’t submerge it, but rain or a splash here
and there is no problem.

Sieghard

I just had a question from one of our Orientation and Mobility instructors
about a bluetooth speaker that is more portable than the BeatBox, but has good
volume so he can use it to help teach folks how to use Blind Square and other
GPS related apps when out on a lesson.
One client carried the BeatBox in her purse and that worked fine, but unless we
ask our male clients to start carrying purses, the BeatBox might be a little
challenging to carry around.
Any suggestions?

RE: New iPad Mini 2

2014-12-03 Thread Sieghard Weitzel
Just FYI, if the songs are in iTunes Plus quality which is AAC format at 256
kbps, 16 Gb will not be so much space. I believe on a 16 Gb model between 12
and 13 Gb are available. I just checked under Settings, General About and saw
there that I have 2,906 songs on my iPhone. I then went to Settings, General,
Usage, manage Storage and here I can see that my music takes up 19.5 Gb.
Had my Dad asked me if he should buy a 16 Gb or a 64 Gb I would have definitely
recommended to get a 64 Gb, for $100 more you get 4 times the amount of
storage.what to buy

Hi all,

Only posting this here as it relates to iOS devices. I don't normally post
general iOS chatter but I think an exception to the rule can apply here.
Just spoken to my father on the cellular. He asked if he can have something
from his Amazon deliver to my address. An iPad Mini 2 for stepmother will be
arriving. Yes she will be welcomed into the world of Apple for sure with her
new iPad Mini 2 Christmas Day. How exciting! She has an iPod Nano but of course
this isn't a fully fledged device and is certainly not running iOS. The iPad
Mini 2 will come with 16 GB of Storage so she should be able to store about
8,000 songs and lots of photos.

Help with native Calendar app please

2014-12-03 Thread Kramlinger, Keith G., M.D.
Hi,

I seem to be totally flummoxed by the native Calendar app.

I've put in Events and have the USA Holidays app that automatically loads US
Holiday dates.

Sometimes I go into Calendar and click List, and get Holidays and Events
starting June 2013, even though it's now December 2014. If I one finger flick
to delete, then double tap to delete, delete announces but delete doesn't
happen.

Other times, I go to a date with an event. It states there is an event and
announces to double tap the button to get details about the event. When I
Double tap on the button, I only get a page with Calendar Headings but no info.

Is there a recommended resource I can go to to figure out the native Calendar
app using Voiceover? Any guidance will be most appreciated.

Thanks in advance. Keith.

Re: 2 Notifications Received for One Text Message

2014-12-03 Thread Alex Hall
Sure, just go to Settings > Notifications, choose Messages, and select what
kind of alert you want and where you want it. Specifically, disable "show in
notification center". However, I wonder if you're just getting the alert twice?
While you're in those settings, go to the "repeat alerts" button and see what
it is set to. If it's two times, as I suspect it might be, set it to "Never"
and that should take care of it.

Re: Apple TV

2014-12-03 Thread Christopher Chaltain
I agree a lot of questions can be answered with a quick Google search
and a lot of list traffic would be eliminated if people would look
through all of their email messages to see if a question has already
been answered before they answer it themselves, but we can't dictate to
others how to process their email or when to use Google versus when to
ask a question on a list. We can make sure people are aware of their
different options, but I'm not sure ranting to people about it is the
most affective method.

Two other things to consider are ignoring those questions or threads you
find trivial or useless, which would be especially easy if you're using
a threaded email client. Or secondly looking for another list where the
traffic isn't so astoundingly useless to you.

Finally, I think Raul and Cara do a good job with this list gently
reminding people what good list habits are and letting them know how
their posts can impact the other 1500 members of the list. IMHO, a
gentle reminder like that from the moderator is more affective than a
rant from a list member.

Hi,

Bit of a rant followed by an answer here, but sometimes the amount of

very simple Google search is also astounding. Whenever I consider if I
should ask a question of the list, I first ponder if instead of
waiting for potentially hours for someone to answer it I can spend a
couple of minutes trying to Google for the solution. For example,
performing a Google search for "apple TV voiceover" produces many
useful results, the top three of which contain instructions as to how
it can be enabled.

However, to answer your question:

1. Plug Apple TV into your TV using a HDMI cable. If purchased from
Apple a HDMI cable will not be supplied.
2. Change the input on your TV to the HDMI port that you have plugged
the Apple TV into.
3. Plug the Apple TV into an electrical outlet.
4. If all is well after a minute you should hear instructions
pertaining to the enabling of VoiceOver.
5. Press the play button (bottom right on the remote with the circle
of buttons facing away from you) 3 times at the same sort of speed
that you would triple click home. VoiceOver should now be enabled.

NB: if you have AV receivers that you will be connecting through the
steps may be slightly different, but the triple click part will remain
the same.

Cheers,
Ben.

Re: iPad split screen with VoiceOver

I don't have an iPad, but maybe navigating by containers would help. You
can add containers to your roter if it isn't already there and then you
can use the roter to select containers and flick up or down to navigate
between containers. I'm not sure it'll help, but maybe it's worth
looking into while you're waiting for someone with an iPad to respond.

wouldn't upgrade to their higher quality variants. After upgrading to
the latest version of IOS, Arabic was still facing the same
inconvenience. I'm in the process of composing an e-mail to Apple,
hoping that they will fix this. As I mentioned, minor bugs. However,
they are somewhat anoying.

Hi all, I can confirm that Voice Over doesn't perform as well with
IOS8.11 when handling more than one language, on my IPod Touch 5 gen.,
when I change language on the roter from English to French, the speech

language, the rate is even faster and sets itself to American English.
The speech rate hasn't been changed in the Voice Over settings however,
cranking it up a bit and resetting it to my preferred speed settles
matters until I change the language again.
The automatic language doesn't change automatically on the web as it
 used to either.
Minor bugs really, especially when you can go round them as easily as
this, but bugs all the same, and disappointing to find out that
something that used to work flawlessly doesn't anymore in a supposedly
 improved version of the IOS.
Just my 2 Euro-scents on this matter.

2 Notifications Received for One Text Message

2014-12-03 Thread Sherry Wells
Hi all,

I hope I can explain this so it makes sense. When I get one text message, VO
says 2 unread messages. The only thing I can figure out is that the message
appears both in messages & in the notification area. This is confusing as I’m
never sure if I really did get 2 texts & just can’t find the 2nd one. Is there
some way to not have texts sent to the notification center?

Thanks,
Sherry Wells

iPad split screen with VoiceOver

2014-12-03 Thread Ryan Mann
How do people deal with the iPad split screen using VoiceOver? For example,
when I try to use an iPad and double-tap on an email message, my list of
messages is still there. It takes me a while to find the actual message. On my
iPhone, I can just double-tap on a message from the Inbox and it’s there
instead of the list of messages.

Re: Brailliant BI and iOS 8.1.1

2014-12-03 Thread Alex Hall
I'd be inclined to blame Humanware. They told me in the past that it's Apple's
fault you can't use the backspace or enter keys to, well, backspace or enter.
However, other displays do this, and Apple's own braille commands list
indicatest dot 7 for backspace and dot 8 for enter. That, and the fact that
this is the first I've heard of the problem (i.e. I've not heard of other
displays doing this) seems to point to Humanware as the culprit.

RE: Apple TV

2014-12-03 Thread Merv Keck
Hi,

You do need to be careful with switch boxes and the Apple TV. They don't
like to wake up on many of those types of things. I tried several of them
including a pretty good HDMI 5 out 1 in box and the Apple TV did not want to
wake up with it on any of the five ports. Also my cable box kept losing the
signal on each of the ports.

Re: Apple TV

If you have more than one device connected to your TV you can always get a box
to switch between devices rather than changing via the remote.

Anyhow since both of us reported it back in ios 6 and I'm sure others have
reported it and we are 2 versions later, I think it's time we all report it

Hi Zoe,

This is precisely my experience too. I too use the Greek language, and I also
have to switch to Greek proper via the rotor rather than rely on automatic
language switching. I also reported it very strongly back in iOS 6 time when
things went wrong with Greek.

Well, if she is going to use music files of 128 mbps she won't get nearly eight
thousand songs on a 16 GB device.
I have a little under nine thousand songs and it is over 32 GB of storage on my

Remember, she will only have a little under thirteen GB actually available.
Still, a wonderful gift and she will have many hours of music in any case.

Re: Apple TV

2014-12-03 Thread Ben Mustill-Rose
Hi,

As you say, selecting the correct input source can be problematic,
both in terms of the key sequence required for your TV & then knowing
if you've selected the input that you've plugged the Apple TV into.
I know the key sequence for my TV, so what I've done in the past is to
plug my laptop in via HDMI, leave speech reading a document then
experiment with changing the input on the TV until I hear speech
through the speakers. The reason why I suggest this is because the
prompt that tells you how to turn VO on is only spoken once a minute
from memory, so there will be a large amount of time when the Apple TV
won't be generating any sound which obviously makes it a bit harder to
tell if you've selected the correct input.

Cheers,
Ben.

didn't tap, flick or anything but was able to hear the music and identify it.

Re: How do I use Siri, and where can I find a user's guide for iOs8.1.1?

2014-12-03 Thread Kerri G
Hello.

Yes, Kevin, you depress and hold the home button until a double beep is heard.
You can ask siri to name that tune if you have IOS8 installed, you can ask to
compose texts, open web sites etc. I used to use an iPhone 4 so I know how neat
the upgrade to our 5S was because of siri. the thing is I don’t use her much
though.

Re: Roku accessibility?

2014-12-03 Thread Brian Fischler
Had to chime in if you have the money I would highly suggest Tivo as the app is
mostly accessible and if you are a cable subscriber it is well worth the money.
The box itself is not accessible at all so you will need sighted assistance
setting it up but once you are setup and install the app you will be able to
control your tv recordings and play anything on your tiro box on any wifi
network on your phone. Check it out.

I had no idea the Roku had become the least bit accessible. I once had a

on the television. As far as the phone app goes, I had no trouble using
the app for putting apps on the Roku and taking apps off of the Roku. I
had no difficulty changing settings on the Roku. However, unless they
changed things since I went to the Apple TV a year ago I could not use the
part of the remote control on the app that let me go left and right and up

Voice Over turned on unless they fixed it in the last year which is highly
possible. Good luck with that and I would be highly interested in your
 results.

New iPad Mini 2

2014-12-03 Thread Christopher Hallsworth

Hi all,

Only posting this here as it relates to iOS devices. I don't normally
post general iOS chatter but I think an exception to the rule can apply
here.
Just spoken to my father on the cellular. He asked if he can have
something from his Amazon deliver to my address. An iPad Mini 2 for
stepmother will be arriving. Yes she will be welcomed into the world of
Apple for sure with her new iPad Mini 2 Christmas Day. How exciting! She
has an iPod Nano but of course this isn't a fully fledged device and is
certainly not running iOS. The iPad Mini 2 will come with 16 GB of
Storage so she should be able to store about 8,000 songs and lots of photos.

How do I use Siri, and where can I find a user's guide for iOs8.1.1?

2014-12-03 Thread Kevin Minor
Hi.

Tomorrow I get my iPhone 5C, and I have two questions about it.

First, how does Siri work? If I understand things correctly I hold the HOME
button until the phone gives feedback, then I tell Siri what I want. This
is how you tell the iPhone 4 to do basic commands such as call a number or
play a song. What all can you do with Siri? I've been a happy user of the
iPhone 4, but I got a great deal on the iPhone 5C, so I'm an eager user
waiting for it to come so I can use Siri.

My second question may give me all the information I need regarding Siri.
Where can I find a user's guide that can be read with a screen reader on a
PC? It needs to be for the iPhone 5c, iOs 8.1.1 or both. If this can't be
accessed with the PC, where do I find it on my phone? How do I get to it
with Safari? I've very rarely used Safari, so if I need toaccess this
browser what do I do to get to the user's guide?

That's all I can think of for now. I'm looking forward to my new phone, and
I can't wait to use Siri to find out some information about a former
Cincinnati Bengals football player. We'll see how good Siri is.

Thanks in advance for help on this.

Don't work too hard.

Kevin Minor, Lexington, KY

Are you using the paid version or the free version of mBraille?
The fre version doesn't let you do the copy and paste, though you can use
the dot commands to send sms or tweat.
I'm using mBraille to write this in the paid version. When I am done
writing, I will hit the home button, go to your message, hit reply, turn the
rotor to edit and flick to paste and double tap, and hit send.

This is iPhone 5S, with iOs 8.1.1.

Edit functions on an open text field is a bit fundamental and guess I'm

Re: [Bulk] feedback from a multi-lingual user

Hi Zoe,

This is precisely my experience too. I too use the Greek language, and I also
have to switch to Greek proper via the rotor rather than rely on automatic
language switching. I also reported it very strongly back in iOS 6 time when
things went wrong with Greek.

Punctuation is already an option, but I don't know if it does symbols like math

RE: [Bulk] Re: feedback from a multi-lingual user

2014-12-03 Thread Cristóbal
Along the same line... Even though I don't have Spanish Spain selected as one
of my languages (I have Spanish Mexico instead), when switching to the Spanish
language keyboard for dictation or typing, VO speaks the keyboard buttons with
the Spanish Spain accent and not at the rate I have the alternate language set
to. The actual text is indeed spoken with the proper accented Spanish language
voice when I switch it via the rotor, but for this issue with the
multi-language keyboards.

Hi I can also confirm these bugs. I use English and Greek. Speech rate
changes on it's own, however in my case autodetect languages in mail, text
messages, notifications etc. works but doesn't work properly. Meaning when
Greek text is detected voiceover starts speaking Greek, but it does it
improperly. What do I mean you ask? It reads letters instead of words and
sentences, and it reads some of the Greek letters in Greek and some in English,
so I hear 2 voices. Of course as soon as the language is detected since I know
of this problem, I use the roter and switch languages and problem solved and
I'm able to hear the proper text by the proper voice. I have told apple about
this way back in ios 6 but they haven't fixed it. The issue of the speech rate
changing came with the latest update.
I'm still happy that my iPhone can read my native tongue so no complaints, and
I am greatful that with the new and latest update Greek has been included in
the dictate feature that comes with voiceover accessability. Before the latest
update I had to use dragon dictate for anything I wanted to write in Greek but
now I have the dictate, now only if they would add a Greek spell check that
would be great.

Re: ANOTHER STRANGE THING!

2014-12-03 Thread carol.pearso...@googlemail.com
Anyone any idea what's causing some of this strange, erratic behaviour!

The first I remember was when Siri responded to the football results, but I
switched off that setting; then we started to see all these funny keyboard
things happening ... various items that seemed to be getting worse rather than
better.

I sure hope Apple get a handle on some of these things soon, and I've said so
to them in as nice a way as I could!

Re: the roter, and the learning curve

2014-12-03 Thread carol.pearso...@googlemail.com
I usually leave mine to characters or words. There are times when you
inadvertently move the rotor and/or flick down/up with your finger and, if
set to Headers, as yours was when you wrote, that's what you'll hear, the
fact that there were no headers found on the screen.

You'll have to experiment with the best way of twisting that rotor for
yourself. We all do it our own way. I hold the phone still with one hand
as I turn two fingers clockwise, or anticlockwise. It was a bit difficult
at first but, once I'd got it, there was no real problem.

Funny thing is that I haven't seen any similar devices in years that had
push button controls rather than sliding ones, and I'm really not that daft.
Someone was just here and told me to push them!
What do I want the roter set on for basic navigating on home screen
or in apps? Words? Characters? Top of page? I suppose on web pages I'd want
something different. I'll reread that section of the book I am using.

Re: A few questions about my new iPhone 6

2014-12-03 Thread Wayne Merritt
With handwriting: you swipe up/down with 3 fingers to switch between
lowercase, uppercase, numbers and punctuation. Swipe left with two
fingers to delete. There is currently a bug when you rodar to
handwriting, where you have to write a letter in lowercase and erase
it before you can switch to uppercase. I prefer writing in uppercase
if possible though I can do lowercase letters too. Not sure if there
is a handwriting option for symbols. Perhaps you can contact Apple
Accessibility and suggest that it be added:
accessibil...@apple.com

Good luck and welcome to the iPhone 6,
Wayne

language on the roter from English to French, the speech rate becomes a lot
faster and when I go back to English UK, my default language, the rate is even
faster and sets itself to American English.
The speech rate hasn't been changed in the Voice Over settings however,
cranking it up a bit and resetting it to my preferred speed settles matters
until I change the language again.
The automatic language doesn't change automatically on the web as it used to
either.
Minor bugs really, especially when you can go round them as easily as this, but
bugs all the same, and disappointing to find out that something that used to
work flawlessly doesn't anymore in a supposedly improved version of the IOS.
Just my 2 Euro-scents on this matter.
All the best,
Marie

bluetooth speakers for O-and-M training

2014-12-03 Thread Richard Turner
I just had a question from one of our Orientation and Mobility instructors
about a bluetooth speaker that is more portable than the BeatBox, but has good
volume so he can use it to help teach folks how to use Blind Square and other
GPS related apps when out on a lesson.
One client carried the BeatBox in her purse and that worked fine, but unless we
ask our male clients to start carrying purses, the BeatBox might be a little
challenging to carry around.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Richard

Re: Brailliant BI and iOS 8.1.1

2014-12-03 Thread Raul A. Gallegos
Hebblo, I will try this the next time it happens. Right now I'm using the
display to write this message. I'm using contracted Braille for both input and
output. I'm also using the auto-translation for the contracted Braille. So far
it's behaved fine. I removed the pairing information and paired it again in
case things didn't connect properly. Also, since I've seen this with 2
different Brailliant displays I am comforted that it's not a problem with the
hardware of just 1 unit. I'll write more if something else comes up or changes.

Re: Apple TV

2014-12-03 Thread Ben Mustill-Rose
Hi,

Bit of a rant followed by an answer here, but sometimes the amount of
replies to questions on this list that are next to useless astounds
me. Additionally, the amount of questions that could be answered by a
very simple Google search is also astounding.

NB: if you have AV receivers that you will be connecting through the
steps may be slightly different, but the triple click part will remain
the same.

Cheers,
Ben.

Are you using the paid version or the free version of mBraille?
The fre version doesn't let you do the copy and paste, though you can use
the dot commands to send sms or tweat.
I'm using mBraille to write this in the paid version. When I am done
writing, I will hit the home button, go to your message, hit reply, turn the
rotor to edit and flick to paste and double tap, and hit send.

oBugga!I did pay, not sure I went through that update when I
reinstalled on to the new 5S. I had been in its settings, so it did keep my

it needs that thing whose name escapes me, but don't have to go through the

I'll look and check, though prefer to know what I'm doing.

RE: the roter, and the learning curve

2014-12-03 Thread Deidre Muccio
Don't spend the 99 cents, that's funny. I did the practice gestures' that I
found in settings on the phone. I don't have any trouble with the different
movements like the roter turning movement, or a three finger swipe with
fingers slightly separated. I just need to learn what is on different pages
and where buttons are and how different apps present their layout. For
example when Siri is telling me something irrelevant to what I asked, what
gesture do I use to stop her then get out of that screen? Do I Hit the home
button, swipe to go back a screen, etc. Those are the basics I need to get
firmly entrenched in my mind. Same goes for getting in and out of apps. I'll
read on or look for some tutorials.
I guess As everyone is saying, I'll get there. I just don't enjoy trial and
error, I'd rather learn step by step, though that doesn't seem to be working
as I would have hoped. Now the phone is making noises at me and I have no
clue what it is telling me. I went into sound settings the other day but
didn't know what would be useful nor if I could change settings wherever I
am, such as you can do with a screen reader. On the other hand, I could
have answered some questions that came up on list when I was reading the
section on configuring your new phone and what was happening screen by
screen or dialogue box by dialogue box. I'll try to keep my questions as a
beginner to a minimum.

Vo looktel tutorial is a useful beginner app to practice the very basic
gestures of using voiceover. I found it helpful although limited. I do not
recommend spending the vast sum of 99 cents to purchase the vo starter app
which I did not find helpful at all. If you are a true beginner, as I am with
assistive technology and using voiceover, learning the rotor is a frustrating
process. It does get better, slowly, over time I promise.

Re: the roter, and the learning curve

2014-12-03 Thread Christopher Chaltain
I'd suggest just practicing with the roter gesture. The trick is that
you have to move your two fingers in opposite directions. This could be
like turning a rotary dial, or you could just slide one finger up while
sliding the other down or one to the right while sliding the other to
the left.

If you're holding your phone so the touch screen is facing you and the
home button is on the bottom front then your volume buttons are on the
left side near the top. There will be a switch that you can move towards
the face of the phone or towards the back of the phone. This is the mute
button. Just below that are two round buttons for volume up and volume down.

The back button will always be in the uppter left hand corner. You can
get to this by just exploring that part of the screen with your finger,
or you can do a two finger swipe up to start reading the screen from the
top. If there's a back button, it'll be the first object read by
VoiceOver. If you miss it, you can just do a single finger flick to the
left to get back there. There's also the scrub gesture, which you can do
by placing two fingers on the screen and then swiping them back and
forth in a z shape. This will perform a double tap on the back button if
it exists.

supposed to be a physical place on the phone to turn it up or down on the
left edge at the top - I'm using an old 4S - but though I feel a few tiny
little switches, they don't seem to move. I find a volume button a lot but
often I'm on a page without one, or maybe I'm just missing it, like the back

moving back and back.
As for the learning curve even with a book, it's 3 steps forward, 2

I recommend you to download a application by the name of VO tutorial by

Maybe you turn down the voiceover volume on the road or, maybe that is why

Hi

Basically you select the rotor what function up/down swipe will do and you
have probably selected move by headings. Try to select some other
movement with the rotor.

To use the rotor image a big, round coin at the center of the screen. now
move two fingers around the edge of this imaginary coin like tryin to
rotate it.
(Dont put a real, physical coin on the screen, it will not work) Maybe a
round cookie will do:-).

Volume buttons are push buttons and they usuaaly affect the sound that
is currently playing so is you want to adjust volume level of certain
pplication make sure VO is not talking at the same time.

Dear Marie,

Have you reported it to accessibil...@apple.com? This would be helpful.

feedback from a multi-lingual user

2014-12-03 Thread Marie BAISEZ
Hi all, I can confirm that Voice Over doesn't perform as well with
IOS8.11 when handling more than one language, on my IPod Touch 5 gen.,
when I change language on the roter from English to French, the speech
rate becomes a lot faster and when I go back to English UK, my default
language, the rate is even faster and sets itself to American English.

All the best,
Marie

Re: mBraille or what?

2014-12-03 Thread Richard Turner
Are you using the paid version or the free version of mBraille?
The fre version doesn't let you do the copy and paste, though you can use the
dot commands to send sms or tweat.
I'm using mBraille to write this in the paid version. When I am done writing, I
will hit the home button, go to your message, hit reply, turn the rotor to
edit and flick to paste and double tap, and hit send.
