RE: Iphone 11 verses se2020 phones
The premise still holds. Just because you don’t... Folks are still using their nose and whatever else tickles their fancy. And yes, people have and do use the body part you're eluding to. A friend confided in me that his girlfriend at the time (it didn't last) for kicks used his eleventh digit as her special touch ID. Talk about TMI. Some things you'd just rather not know about others. Again, it's all good. the point is we have options. Tomato Tommato. I'm sure using my nose will be very reliable and since baring my chest in the winter to use a nipple or taking off my boots to try a toe doesn't seem exactly practical I think I'll stick with Face Id. Oh, sorry, forgot the cat's paw, but then again since I think cats don't have any use except for catching mice on a farm I think I won’t buy one for that purpose and I think my lab's paw is too rough and big for the home button of the SE. There is of course one more male body part which I am surprised wasn't even mentioned in the article, but once again, I'll keep it where it's warm in the winter and I also don't want to get arrested for public exposure. -Original Message- From: viphone@googlegroups.com On Behalf Of Cristóbal Muñoz Sent: Tuesday, July 19, 2022 2:41 PM To: viphone@googlegroups.com Subject: RE: Iphone 11 verses se2020 phones Well there you go. I doubt you will find that Voiceover on an iPhone 11, 12 or 13 will be all that much different. Yes, especially the Max phones may have slightly larger speakers and sound a bit fuller, but it's not a night and day difference. As for your other issues you may have these just the same on any other iPhone, e.g. if you turn on Screentime it will be no different on an iPhone 13 Max than on an iPhone SE 2020. -Original Message- From: 'Louana Sterling' via VIPhone Sent: Tuesday, July 19, 2022 7:08 PM To: viphone@googlegroups.com Subject: Re: Iphone 11 verses se2020 phones What I don’t like is the voice is tinny, I have trouble seeing the keyboard some times when I am on the phone... I also wear some sleep headphones at night so I can read a book without bothering my wife, and I don't have to worry about falling asleep while wearing them. Sometimes I pull them down over my eyes so they don't irritate my forehead. When I do this, and I have to unlock my phone in the middle of the night to start my BARD book again, I have to tug up my sleep phones, unplug my iPhone because the cord is too short, and point it at my face to unlock it. Obviously I could get a longer code and buy a pair of sleep ear buds, but my life would be a bit simpler and I'd save a bit of money if I had a touch ID option on my phone. This is just my particular use case. -- Christopher (AKA CJ) Chaltain at Outlook -Original Message- From: viphone@googlegroups.com On Behalf Of Ryan Mann Sent: Tuesday, July 19, 2022 3:16 PM To: viphone@googlegroups.com Subject: Re: Iphone 11 verses se2020 phones I agree with you about Touch ID. RE: Iphone 11 verses se2020 phones
And for me it's mostly been the opposite, i.e. touch ID has been more reliable and convenient. There are just some times where I'd find it more convenient to use my finger instead of getting my face and phone positioned so face ID will work. I'm not pushing against face ID, and it wouldn't keep me from buying a phone, but if I had the option then I'd be just a touch happier. -- Christopher (AKA CJ) Chaltain at Outlook -Original Message- From: viphone@googlegroups.com On Behalf Of Sieghard Weitzel Sent: Tuesday, July 19, 2022 1:07 PM To: viphone@googlegroups.com Subject: RE: Iphone 11 verses se2020 phones For me Touch Id was always much less reliable than Face Id, but then again I live in northern British Columbia where first of all you have to wear gloves for at least 5 months out of the year and I also do stuff with my hands, gardening in the summer and woodworking more or less often year-round and when my fingers are full of scratches and cuts or covered in glue Touch Id is just not a good option whereas Face Id seems to be at least 95% or more reliable for me. -Original Message- From: viphone@googlegroups.com On Behalf Of Cristóbal Muñoz Sent: Tuesday, July 19, 2022 10:47 AM To: viphone@googlegroups.com Subject: RE: Iphone 11 verses se2020 phones I needed a second iPhone with dual sim capability and didn't want to shell out big bucks for one of the higher end iPhones. RE: Iphone 11 verses se2020 phones
I like my 11, but that seems a big difference from a SE 2020. I think though that the 11 has a stronger battery. The 11 has no home button, good riddance, as far as I'm concerned, but the SE 2020 does. So, if a home button is important to you, then, you might want to give this further consideration. Although, as I see it, there will be a time, when there is no home button on any model, just a matter of time. -Original Message- From: 'Louana Sterling' via VIPhone [mailto:viphone@googlegroups.com] Sent: Sunday, July 17, 2022 12:03 PM To: viphone@googlegroups.com Subject: Iphone 11 verses se2020 phones Hello all, if I bought a iPhone 11 would I be going backwards from the se2020? Re: Iphone 11 verses se2020 phones
I just got my 13 pro max a few days ago. Not having the home button isn't any big deal. A great tip someone shared with me, to easily get to the home screen with the nonhome button phones, is to put your thumb on the USB lightning port of your phone, then move your wright index finger up. This will help you immensely in getting to both your home screen and your app switcher. On 7/17/22, Richard Turner wrote: > The SE 2020 has the same chip set as the 11. Re: Iphone 11 verses se2020 phones
The SE 2020 has the same chip set as the 11. So it would be duplicating the capability of what you already have. It would be bigger is all. I'd look into deals for a 12 if you are looking for better performance. Just remember you will lose the home button. To me that is not a big deal. I have the 13 Pro and do not miss the home button at all. Richard “What we think or what we know or what we believe is in the end of little consequence.
