Hi Alan; You need to add the # as a "Voice Call". If you don't pick a catagory the # will not be added. Hope this helps. Especially in the beginning, but even now, sometimes when I am doing things in the phone app, I put my phone into airplane mode. That way, it will tell me that I can't call anybody if I hit the wrong thing and am about to do so. This was after a couple of those two in the morning calls. I then must remember to turn airplane mode off. I was mistakenly thinking that selecting Voice Call or FaceTime would initiate a call since I seem to be inadvertently initiating calls all the time with the Voice app. I should have realized that since I was in a screen to add a favorite, selecting one of those would do just that.
