If you are out walking, you are using cellular data which is likely to have spottier connectivity. If you are at home using Wi-Fi, you shouldn't have these issues unless your network is having issues. Make sure both Wi-Fi and Cellular are enabled for streaming these apps. I know this is a basic question, but are you sure it's not a network issue? You also might want to try a soft reset of your iPhone and see if that straightens the issue. I was having a problem with Apple Music streams sputtering and sometimes dropping and I did a soft reset and it seems to have fixed the problem for almost a month now. -Original Message- From: viphone@googlegroups.com On Behalf Of Jim Portillo Sent: Wednesday, February 8, 2023 1:02 AM To: viphone@googlegroups.com Subject: Re: Worry About iPhone and Radio Streaming That would make sense, but I have been trying different stations throughout the two apps. Are you using WiFi? Check if it is enabled? If you are, You could also, in an attempt to narrow down the issue with your phone, turn off Mobile Data to see over an interval of time, if that has any effect. . Hi Jim It could be the station. Some stations have a lot of trouble and go in and out or connect then disconnect a number of times. If you aren't having trouble with streaming them on the iPad, that is probably not an internet issue. Worry About iPhone and Radio Streaming
Hi everyone, Here's something I've begun noticing over the past three days regarding my phone, and it concerns me. When I try streaming different radio stations, my phone starts out doing fine, but then it either pauses the streaming for a bit or it completely stops as though it loses connection or something. I've tried it with the OoTunes app first. Then, I went to TuneIn and tried streaming a couple different stations and get similar results. Right now, I am streaming one that isn't doing the pausing as much, but it is still doing it some. It just did it as I typed about it. I've tried this same streaming experiment on my iPad and don't seem to have any issues there. Any idea what could be happening on my phone? I don't know if I could stream radio stations on my watch, as I've not tried it. Again, so far, this has been with stations on both Ootunes and TuneIn. Pretty weird!
