You mean, if the mailing list ML has memebers {A, B, C}, you want filters not to run when one of {A, B, C} sends a message? Rather when they receive a message sent to this ML. Unless, of course, you take care of exclusion in your filter (or a pre-filter, if the main filter is heavy). A mirror requires a software that does proper sync (proper =3D=3D use HTTP HEAD instead of downloading each time everything) once or twice a day, So, I thought a croned wget -m http://www.xmailserver.org; would do the job. [xmail] SSL + Attachment
Hello, I've got two machines running XMAIL. One has 1.24 and the other has 1.25. I use SSL on port 465 for SMTP. When I send a message without attachment or with small attachment (I just tried with 3 22KO jpeg pictures), no problem. But, if I attach files that weigh more than 80KO, the transfer starts but stops after a few seconds and fails. I see nothing special when I run in debug mode. Am I the only one having this problem ? Anybody can help me solve this ? Maybe XMail does= =20 not understand French very well :) :-) Seriously, in the very latest 1.25-pre series I replaced OpenSSL DLLs wit= h=20 the new ones I built based on the latest OpenSSL release. Are you sending from XMail to XMail, or from MUA to XMail? Hello, I need a mailbox than can not send E-mail at all. Just receive (backup of an other mailbox). There is also another question I'd like to put : Can we make a mailbox read-only from a webmail or POP3 access ? Such an archive mailbox's address could just be added to a mailing list so as to keep copies of all it's messages. Allowed users would be given the login and password to be able to read past messages using their usual E-mail client or a Webmail. Does that sound possible ? BTW, Fridrik Skulason - the author of F-PROT - has published at least two open letters on his site asking that AV software stop sending this sort of warnings, for the reasons everybody knows or should know: today's viruses forge the sender address and rely on their own SMTP engines without attaching themselves to legitimate mail sent by unaware users, so the only thing that gets a chance of being informed that it sends a virus is the virus itself ... BTW, Peter Lindeman's AV script makes it easy to have a server behave accordingly to this opinion I share. Hello, According to http://www.abuse.net/relay.html, my libre-essai.net (running XMail 1.18) fails on the Relay test 6 : RSET 250 OK MAIL FROM:[EMAIL PROTECTED] 250 OK RCPT TO:[EMAIL PROTECTED] 250 OK Relay test result : Hmmn, at first glance, host appeared to accept a message for relay. What should I do ? My smtprelay.tab was empty. Following your instructions, I added 127.0.0.1 255.255.255.255 to see if it changes anything but I still fail the test at point 6.
