I've been waiting for others to report on Jeff Mills' dates in Sydney and
Melbourne, but since no one has I will do the honours as I think his
Australian (Art Of Connecting) Tour warrants it! Note: this is fairly
subjective and discursive.
I caught Jeff Mills twice this last week, in Sydney (I

I saw DJ Ken this weekend in Toronto. He rocked some hard tech-house and
the crowd really ate it up. Barbie looked a little too fucked up to

You're all missing the obvious. :)
Maybe a little girl will be given a set of dolls and she will play with
them, let Barbie have a go on the decks, and grow up associating the decks

Dan Curtin really needs no further introduction, so will jump straight to
the album, released on Elypsia after several delays. The albums opens very

are very hectic and, basically, I'm out of the loop all day but I'd love to
hear this.
Let me know if there are any good samaritans out there who can help with
this.
Thanks

Hiya folks.
I've been off list for a few days and have only just finished wading through
the backlog. There's been a fair amount of trivia, but also some really
important stuff being addressed, which is good.
I've been debating something in my head for a while and I'd like to open it

Yeah, we had him play at our Radius night in Cardiff back in February.
He played an excellent set of quirky old and new material, including a
fair bit of his own stuff, lots of Playhouse and Perlon, plus artists
like Titonton and Dan Curtin. Brilliant

the unfortunate thing about dj ken etal is we are now sleepwalking. we don't
even care about things like this anymore because we have been so inundated
by it.[snip]
the issue i have with
