Tribal techno is very percussive techno - I'd like to say that even some of
it (like a few Recycled Loops tracks, for example) has an almost Latino feel
to it. Tribal techno is also referred to as Drum Trax. Some of it uses
African or Tribal voice samples, such as Samuel L. Sessions'

Picked up the Mayday mix of Jaguar on cd single last night. Nice, warm,
perfectly-realized version. There is a cd-rom video included, filmed
entirely in South West Detroit by the UR crew. Has anyone seen it yet? Is
it destined for the small screen? I'm going to check it later.

The 10 is by Steve O'Sullivan and has nothing to do with Dean Decosta.
And Steve is making a full Bluetrain album too.
The newest mosaic is quite good too, a bit faster and harder than usual,
with John Beer and Chris McCormack featured on it...
i talked briefly with dean last time he was up
noper.

I uploaded another Redux remix. This one's risky and strange. No semblance
to any of the original samples. Severe waveform manipulation. You'd
categorize it as techno - I guess...
