Hi,
While y'all were getting down in Detroit, I went to Fuse in Brussels last
Saturday to see Mr Gigolo Hell.
And it was mad! Hell just played one memorable record after the other, dark,
booming, just the way only he can play.
He even dropped in some old Front 242 stuff :-)
There was one
For those that went to all access... You know it was definately worth the money
and waiting to get in.. Laurent Garnier threw down a superb set that I just
could not stop dancing to. Interesting enough, some guy took my picture with an
underground mag. Never heard of it, so it might be local..
Ya, John Acquaviva closed his set with Front 242 Headhunter .. :)

Oh yeah and aquaviva's set was md. I was stoked when he threw on
headhunter =) Looking forward to the b.ville 3 tonight!
That Saul Williams guy really sucked though. He kind of ruined the good
vibe I had going.
Oh yeah! Does anyone know who the heck was spinning the Ford
i saw hell (along with savas pascalidis and informer live) on friday. just
awesome!!!
the track you're asking for is called 'sunglasses at night' and is
actually a new one, by a guy called 'tiga' (from montreal i believe?)
i asked hell about this track and he told me it would come out sometime in
Looked to me like both.

MIxMaster Mike's set was stunning. Although technically Koala might be
slicker, you couldn't prove it by the DEMF shows. Mike was hip, fast as
lightning, funky as all get out and he lets enough of the tracks play to
give you a feel of what they're about. Quite impressive.
ive seen mike DJing for the beasties a couple of times and he's just
amazing. totally cutting up and remixing BB tunes while they're playing
live: hip hop performing like it should be...

unfortunatly i have been unable to make it to the demf, but i was wondering
what people thought of bone's set. a friend of mine told me it was horrible
replete with lots of cheesy buildups, but i always hear about how good he
is. any opinions?

You have a keen ear Alex! It's the Naked Music Mixes of Sade's 'By Your Side',
a totally deeep and sexy piece of wax.
It was released only a few months ago, but it was kinda a bootleg, no label
info or credits apart from the above-mentioned.
Am I now really a keen spotter? Knowing this
yeah! thanks for that and congratulations, you win... err something! (as

While I wouldn't put so complete a slam on it, I *would* say that Jay
Denham's set underground blew it away completely. I was hoping for more
from Bone.

Just a few wordsI'm pleasantly surprised at the quality of most of the
live sets here this year.
I was blown away by Todd Sines - yow!! Maersk was very nice; Thad Mullinex
(sp?) was great. (since I don't want to get back into an Ae thread, I'll
leave that comment out :-). Nice
Jay Denham was amazing at the underground stage. I
also caught the end of his set at Treatment last
night, and again it was phenomenal. I hope he comes
to town again soon.

Sunday was a bit of a letdown for me at the festival. Only Todd Sines
(live) and Kenny Larking (DJing) really did it for me. Both Strand Shake
and Titonton Duvante's group are stretching the boundaries, and
that's good to see, but the music didn't really jell for me anyway. John
Acquaviva
i thought it was okay... there were cheesy buildups, and i've heard just
about everything he played before. doesn't matter though, still made me
dance. dancing in the rain was fun. :)

I had the first two releases mailed to me from a friend in Koln. I believe
