Hi folks,
I realize that this is pretty off-topic, but I'm wondering if any of the
flurry of recent US-Berlin expats can help me out.
I just spent a boatload of scratch getting my studio monitors shipped
from the States, because the manual for them had a nice, easy to follow
chapter on swapp

and you can expand up to 128mb ram also key features are 2 x MIDI In and 2 x
MIDI Out. 32 MIDI channels, Internal preset sounds in flash,
Save/load your sound and sequence data to/from Compact Flash. Those are things

get another MPC2000. The 1000 has too many limitations, especially if you're

the 2000.

couple of studio limitations over the 2000xl, such as lack of reverse
edits and time-stretching. And it's had a few introductory glitches,
though that's pretty normal for Akai. For live work though, it looks
absolutely perfe
i guess this is sorta OT, but i figure there's the right knowledge base
here.. does anyone here have any opinions on the mpc1000? my 2000 died
and was thinking of getting the little guy.. also, i know about software
alternatives but want to stay with gear..

On the Ath? Or in general ...
My quick 2 cents (that's 1/2 of a Euro cent, by the time you read this):
1999 - Luxor: oops, that wasn't the DEMF
2000 - Uh, wait, I was in Tokyo being an idiot
2001 - Ren Center Marriott:
Nice hotel, pricey

Damn straight. JT and Arian together are always blending the right sounds.
This is the best release they have done together since, well, the last
release they put out on Moods & Grooves.
Good work Mike.
