Ah you stateside folks and your hardiness to distances - it's only as an
occasional expedition us Europeans are going to travel 400
miles to a gig and back but to do it 2 nights running to see the same artist!!!

I was going to avoid the fact Mills was playing in Manchester this
weekend and now I'm finding it tricky.
It is at that aweful Warehouse project though. If I see Mills giving it

Good to hear this. The SF show was on the old 177 Townsend
sound system, the best large club system I've ever heard (with the
piston-driven bass bins), but apparently it's not being well tended
at the new location. I couldn't make it being in between business
trips in Portland. All the same
In fairness I went to see A Guy Called Gerald Tyree Cooper there and
the sounds had improved. Not louder but a lot clearer

gave it a darker feel and added to the atmosphere.

Is that Dr. Bootygrabber by the Detroit Grand Pubahs? He put it on
DE9:Transitions with the voice slowed way down; maybe he does it live
too.

Off the top of my head, sounds like Grand Pubah's Dr. Bootygrabber
which I've heard him play in a few sets.

Now, if someone could only ID the track he played that has early
