Hi list,
Do you know if the playlists of the Mr. Fingers older mixes on
deephousepage.com are available somewhere???
Otherwise, can someone ID the song around 24 minutes in the following
mix: http://dhpmixes.com/mixes/LarryHeard101505deephousepage.mp3
In fact, I am ondering about all tracks
it was larry sherman, not larry heard, that put can u feel it and the chuck
roberts vocal together.

For the record. That speech was originally on Rhythm controll - my house
version as the trax release.

it is the same Martin Luther King that lead the
protests back in the 60s as well...

Does Chuck Roberts go by Chuck D as well?
Without hearing the tracks, it is hard to say, but I
can see Martin Luther King Jr. and Chuck D from public
enemy being referenced together. Without going into
specifics, they are both very outspoken individuals
with liberal political views...

You could pick up the recent reissue of Classic Fingers - nicely done on 3
bits of vinyl. The previous one on Blackmarket was only 2 slices. Amnesia
has recently been bootlegged and features Waterfalls. Picking up the
originals can be hard, but then you can be patient (I'm not very good at
that)

It'd be interesting to see if Chuck D has come across UR, actually - I
wonder what his opinion of their work would be?

I know that Mike and Chuck D have met on occasion, so they're aware of each
other's work. Dunno if it's in the stars (I doubt it), but I
i was thinking they should have a Flavor-Flave rmx. intermitently throw in
the yeah boyy sample.
