While we're on the topic of mixers I've got to plug my latest baby, my
Rane Empath mixer. Grandmaster Flash served as the technical
consultant, and his expertise definitely serves the mixer well. While
it may seem like your standard 3 channel mixer, I feel it goes way
beyond the competition.

to the DJ mixers, I have the Technics Mixing Championship mixer
(can't recall model number) and the sound quality I get with it is considerably
worse than if I directly attach the turntable to the amp; I have been told that
it is a fact of life that mixers will do this - has anyone got any
my roommates wasn't a scratch mixer.
