You can't get Ethiopian in Detroit any longer, have to go to Windsor (via
Tunnel Bus) to Marathon, but the price is right and the food is great.

Not quite near downtown, but on Michigan ave and The Southfield freeway
there's Al-Berdouni's(sp) for excellent Arabic food and Rosa's Mexican
Resturant on the same block. I used to work at a car audio shop that was
there years ago and we ate there daily.
Plus there's always American Coney Island
I'm big on the Majestic cafe but I haven't been there in a couple of years.
They have these yam fries with honey which are out of this world!
