I think it is unmixed - but if I remember correctly it is not all of the
tracks off of a CD - just a selection of them. This could have changed -
the last one I bought was X-Mix 5. I'm not sure if they are still doing them.

As Seen In Shop:
!K7 has a trio of CD boxsets out now with 3 discs of X-mix fun per set!
... no DJ cards, though,
J. E. v.F-B. B.
for me, very rare tracks on that one). And I've seen the Ken Ishii, Hardfloor,
Mr C, Dave Clarke X-Mix'es on vinyl as well.
Happy hunting!

There was no X-Mix 1 in the format we all know (video + cd + vinyl). And
indeed

X-Mix 5 (Hell, best in the series for me, very rare tracks on that one)
There was a track on there by I.O. Station to Station I think it was
called. I have never heard another I.O. tune... anyone know of any?
Cheers

There was no X-Mix
I'm not sure of that statement RD. I'm sure I know of people that have X-Mix
1 on vinyl... and I'm talking people that bought it brand new. Even tho I
have never physically seen a copy, I can't justify my statement.
But ALL the other X-mix series has 'DEFINITELY' been released.
Also FYI
http://www.netflix.com has the ken ishii one...

What's the saxophone track?
I lost my copy. But I remember that when that track came on for the first
time, I was floored!

Pretty sure I.O. is Patrick Pulsinger and crew (I think include Gerhard
Potuzni) from the Cheap crew. Some of their early stuff was fairly straight
up acidic techno, as compared to the more experimental path the label
currently takes. Check the A.D.S.R. double album (on Cheap) for a good
sample.

Doh! My recommendation
Actually I have a copy of X-Mix 3 on vinyl and I'm sure the first 2 were
also available but I have never seen them.
Thought you'd like to know

Not all the X-Mix series was released on vinyl, and they definately
aren't available from !K7 anymore.
Hmmm lemme check the network

Looks like probably everything from X-Mix 4 (Dave Angel) on.
Good luck finding it.
