Formerly known as 'Landcruising' .. Triple pack vinyl with a gate fold
Planet E album art jacket. Completly re-mastered and re-worked with
additional edits. Features the unreleased track Sparkle and the new ambient
versions of Technology
Hey Ken,
we did get the available back cat of R+S when they shut down but that
album wasn't available on vinyl when we got the shipment- only CD. We
have Body and Soul though, Orlando Voorn, Outlander, Ken Ishi, Peshay
etc
cheers
Jason
PS I really hated Landcrusing when it was first
Just to clarify, 'Landcruising' was on Blanco y Negro. We were talking about
'Deep Space' on RS - and in fact, the original post referred to a rare
edition of 'Deep Space' on 7. Cheers Jason. I don't suppose you've got any
copies of 'Sonic Sunset' left on 12 have you?!?

Before I set out to try and purchase it on LP, is it generally still available
or will I have to use Ebay? Hadn't heard it in ages and then put on my ipod
last night and remembered there are some corkers on it.
I think ive spotted it not too long ago - not a Planet
E release but someone else who must have liscenced it.
Try phoning RubADub and see if they have a copy

I think
It came out on Blanco y Negro - it was never a Planet E release AFAIK...

Also worth tracking down from that period is the Science Fiction 12 (taken
from the Landcruising LP and also on Blanco y Negro) which has a great Kenny
Larkin remix - and the original
So what other classic LP have people always wanted to find on vinyl but have
maybe not succeeded, or maybe you have, or maybe you only just realized you
have something on cd which you'd dearly love to have on vinyl?
For me I've always wanted the Model 500 LP 'Mind Body' and I managed to
get it

i had it special-ordered at gramophone in chicago about a year and a half
ago. having been a major-label release w/ disappointing sales, plenty
likely see
Landcruising, Silent Phase, both Nighttime Worlds, The Collective, and the
list goes on (hard to cite the ones that grace my collection now b/c they're
all packed up). Then there are other albums like Neil Olivera's Detroit
Escalator Company - Soundtrack 313 that couldn't possibly fit
, CARL: Landcruising CD (BLANCO Y NEGRO/WEA) $17.25
Yep, this is an essential and overlooked release IMO. Carl seemed to just go
back to the Detroit basics - simple rhythms, synthetic sounds (there seems
to be few samples) and simple ideas but theres a lot of emotion and beauty.
Definitely
