No there is no limit on the nesting of groups, however, there is a limit
for the amount at Kerberos token size may be. Consider that if you are
a member of a group which is a member of 10 groups which is a member of
two groups each. You look at your account and see that you are only a
member
Yes, but you still need OL2003 to do so. The easiest
would be to simply create a new PST file using the option PST 97-2002 PST
Files. Then copy from one PST to another inside OL2003. Other than
third party software, this would be the easiest way. Reminder that OL2003
extends beyond 1.8 GB
While not VMWare, Microsoft has an interesting stance with using Domain
Controllers and Virtual Server 2005
You can download the full whitepaper:
Running Domain Controllers in Virtual Server 2005
On servers running Windows Server 2003 and Virtual Server 2005, you can
install multiple domain
The amount of data alone from this LIST would fill 8 megs a day :-)
Generally I have come across with 50 to 100 MB limits with a 90 MB soft

Title: Cross WINS Pollination
If you had two distinct organizations and did not want to
replicate each other's WINS database information that would be first
reason. However, what if both organizations wanted to use a 'shared
domain' model. You can accomplish this by having one set of DC's
Title: Cross WINS Pollination
Consider the methodology of a large organization, a step
which is manual in nature could be overlooked by a single support person which
is what is to be avoided. But again, in the header of my mail, I did not

Title: Cross WINS Pollination
Without getting to the specifics we have a need to register WINS entries to a non listed WINS server.
For example, if I have Domain Controller or Server A with the following IP stack info:
168.120.2.10 - Host
168.140.140.30 - WINS1
168.140.140.31 -

There are many load testing systems out there (e.g. Load Runner (www.mercury.com), AdventNet Qengine) for Web based apps and custom Application code for .NET. My question is there any way to test for multiple login behaviour in active directory? For

5000 is the 'recommended' limitation for groups on both
Win2k and Win2k3 - but that limitation is only due to replication issues with
AD.

Title: RE: [ActiveDir] 64 Bit?
The only comment I would caution on is the fact that one
would be introducing another OS to the environment. Although functionality
wise, it would be working as a Windows base server, it would require different

It ultimately depends on your faith with the Array
Controller. We have been using Compaq (HP) Smartarrays (several thousand
of them) since its inception back in 1997 (or 96?) and has always been
positive. Most of HP's SmartArrays are battery backed up
