version and see how that works for you. It works very well with files exported

It is a bit messy, and it is easy to sometimes forget to put a check in the
check box. I have made it a habit to put click on the checkbox as soon as I
put a piece of video in the timeline. That way,

Select each audio clip and normalize it. If you right click on the audio
clip, it is under 'audio options' in AP Pro 1.0. In other versions it may be
other places, but normalizing will give each clip the maximum level without
over peaking the audio track.
