Ostensibly because the filenames are not of the form *.* .
Your log shows the successful backup of some files, and they
are of that two-p
Are you excluding the directories or filespaces you don't want with a "
exclude.fs or exclude.dir"?
If not, use them. The regular exclude inspects files.

If i recall, there was not LTO support in 3.7.0.0. I believe i had to
upgrade to 3.7.4.0 to get LTO support. But the update is available on
Tivoli's site, and is a pretty painless update.
To get the drives defined in AIX, again you may have to have a recent
version of the Atape.driver
I believe you can only use the "B" (Blue tab) format tapes as the B12 can't use C
tapes. As this is apparently on one system you need to have tapes that are compatible
with all drives.
B format capacity is 5GB uncompressesd and 15GB compressed (3:1 compression).

itself is a separate server and requires Unix. BMR does not care what the
TSM server is itself. Check the FAQ out on their site.
