OmniBack is only big on the HP 9000 platform. It's not as widely used
as TSM or as cross-platform. Tape rotation is a problem as well. Take

it might work for b/a client type of backups not with TDPO. RMAN doesn't
backup NULL blocks. So it takes time for RMAN to scan through the Oracle

generates a new one when required, thus removing the necesity for the
client to prompt you for a password.

Yes, if you click on the "Advanced search" link, it will explain how to
specify your search criteria. Among other things, it does say that boolean
operators like AND and OR are case sensitive, and need to be in CAPS.
Another alternative is to just use the '+' (plus) sign to specify your
criteria.
It4s possible that the storage pool reached its maximun capacity while the backup was running and failed, and after this the expiration process began. It can be the reason witch the storage pool is not full.

The onlyest concern is the database backups and exports.
As i know, if you keep the database backups only for 2 days and no exports,
