I used PSKILL utility with no results :( I think that 5.2 Client with installed Open File Support module is able to backup locked files (by other applications)... Am I wrong ?. Mabye there is some other problem with client itself. Some ideas ? Janusz

Hi! Thanks for info. The problem appears (I think) on different files. As I wrote, once it hangs on C:\WINNT\Temp\somefile.tmp, other time on some Outlook files, etc. What can be the reason ? Win 2000 has McCafee antivirus software installed, but there is no job working when TSM client hangs.

I didn't try to perform backup without OFM (can I make full consistent backup of Win 2000 System without OFM ? What with opend files ?). It hangs on fridays. On other days it works properly. I have inventored software on machine, but there is no any running job this day.
