check if all your network adapters and ports in the chain from TSM client to

are in pairs of half-half or full-full and not mixed like full-half.
I had similar problem and the cause was a half-full pair.

Yep.. they are at a very recent, if not the most recent code level, along
with the library's code level. No more than 2 months old there... but
then, that could be the problem.. perhaps that code level is bad.. I will
have my CE get me the latest numbers and check that, but I suspect (hope)
Has your CE installed the new drive clips? That helps with the dismount
problems.

The format written to LTO cartridges depends on the medium type. So if you
use an LTO1 cartridge with an LTO2 drive, the format should be LTO1 format.
And an LTO1 drive should be able to read data from the LTO1 cartridge.To be
sure, you can also set format in devclass to ultriumc.
Try running a scheduler in each cluster group. That way the backups
will happen even if the groups are not on their normal nodes.
