Gerd, There is no delete function for DP/Exchange backups. A DP/Exhannge backup is made up of multiple TSM Server objects, so I would not advise just deleting objects without making sure you are deleting the entire logical backup... and even then be very careful you are deleting the correct ones.

Bill, Can you post the output of q devc f=d? That may help us... You can keep your existing storage pools for your LTO2 tapes, and define new ones for your LTO3 tapes. That's what I did. In fact, I still purchase and use LTO2 cartridges, because of our DR contract which does not specify LTO3

When I use a in an interactive session, it dumps the output on the server file system, not the client. When I do the same thing from my client it will by default go to the baclient directory on my client, unless I specify a different spot, i.e d:\something\something. It never goes to the server.
