Hi,
DB2 backup reads config settings only at start up. Cleaning the config
files after that wont change the running setup untill db2 gets restarted.
Either check time stamp of current config files or restart db2 and see

Under the hood 'ba db ' does perform a 'db2 backup db ...', but with added
features like being able to restore the TSM database while TSM is unavailable

Perhaps it's a timing issue. For DB2 you have to issue db2adutl delete

forever. In TSM you run expire inventory. Both are necessary to remove
all pieces of the db2 backup. Perhaps for this database you run the DB2

where you are able to display these expire immediate objects.
