Are you just using couplers in the small box and then running an armored patch cable to the radios? On Tue, Oct 2, 2018 at 11:53 AM Dave wrote: > We are installing our ptp820c's in a week. > I ordered the bestronics hybrid armored cable for my deployment. > I had to make one change to the instal

Yeah, well, I guess you're still paying for a power supply either way, since it's still going to come with an external one (I assume)... I forgot the 11AHx4 had a DC jack. It does look like the SFP+ goes directly to the CPU, but I suppose the 2 2.5Gbps switch chips still will limit you to no more t

We are installing our ptp820c's in a week. I ordered the bestronics hybrid armored cable for my deployment. I had to make one change to the install to accommodate the DC wire. I used a small sched80 box to install a transtector DC line protector and ran the leads from it to the radio for direct d

The AHx4 also has DC in. I am powering them at a couple 48V DC sites. Seems a shame to pay for the AC power supplies and not use them, but whatever. If having a 10 gig port is important, then the 2.5 Gbps limit on the switch chips might be a limiting factor, and you might want a CCR. On th

Rackmount version.. I have no interest in the WiFi version. It looks like a nice upgrade from the 2011/3011, but most of them will be going in NEMA boxes, not rackmounted. I changed the case on several 3011s to fit them in where we had 2011s before... it'll be nice to have real replacement for the

Are you talking about the WiFi version or the rackmount version? I’m having a hard time seeing the WiFi version as competitive at that price. The rackmount 4011 seems like an upgrade from a 2011 desktop version. Not sure I like it as a rackmount, but am considering it as a badly needed upgrad

I've only briefly physically seen an 802C radio. When running fiber to the SFP Port, is there space inside the radio to store slack Fiber, or do you have to have the outdoor jacket continue to within an inch of the connectors like on the old PTP600 radios? Looking at the Cambium fiber cables,
