Yeah, that probably would do it, but... I don't want to ;-). it's got
already got more than enough capacity for awhile anyway.

FYI you could just do 3' on one side if you're on the edge of it getting

We have an AF5x link that's just under 16 miles using 2' dishes, using a
20mhz channel it will pretty consistently do about 130Mbps aggregate, but
it's not quite good enough to do 256qam... it could probably do a bit
better with 3' dishes.
Don't judge the airFibers based on experience with other U
The RF section is way better that the Rocket. But if you come from the
PTP600/650 world, you have been spoiled. We have a couple of af5x links,
work well. One of the downfalls from it is the inability for the slave to
scan all channels for the master, you cant only configure 3 channels for
scan.
When they actually associate I got 8 bits pee Hertz. So 160 aggregate.
75/25 split.

The AirFiber line is completely different than the WiFi-based M series. You
will not be disappointed with any AirFiber units and many of their
engineers came from Motorola. It is absolutely a bargain compared to PTP600
or 650 from Cambium and will provide similar performance. Some things you

Hi All,
I am wondering if anyone can tell me what you are seeing with the Airfiber 5x
product from Ubiquiti on a 20Mhz channel in terms of speed.
We have invested a lot of money into 650's from Cambium and licenced SAF. We
have been using the MT QRT product as a cost conscience backhaul as wel
