I propose a 8.6.2 bugfix release and I volunteer as RM. The motivation for
this release is LUCENE-9478 where Simon addressed a serious memory leak in
DWPTDeleteQueue.
If there are no objections I am planning to build the first RC by the end

I think your polygon has intersecting edges but it is difficult to
reproduce with that output. Could you provide the original polygon you are
trying to index?

I am currently not using wfs but going straight through PHP to postGIS with
my app and this allows me to capture the full error from Postgres. This
list has suggested wfs is the preferred method however, this is good to
know.
