[all-audio] Bowes Mini SoundLink replacement?

2020-02-19 Thread John Gurd via Groups.Io
I have the first Mini SoundLink and I really like the audio from it. Unfortunately it's on it's last legs. I think I heard the subsequent versions weren't as easy to use. Is that correct? I'm looking for a Bluetooth speaker around the same size with the same or better rich sound? Any suggestions?

If I remember correctly WavePad decays the quality of the audio each time you save is it doesn't act on the mp3 frames. MP3Mate sounds like a better bet. John -Original Message- From: all-audio@groups.io On Behalf Of Mike Bernard via Groups.Io Sent: 22 January 2020 17:13 To:

Re: [all-audio] Latest iPod touch does anyone have it

I thought about it but the chip is only the equivalent of iPhone 7 and it could be obsolete in a year. The thing that really put me off though was that it doesn't use a finger-print sensor. The thought of entering a very long string every time I wanted to use my password manager really did it!

I believe Apple have their own in-line protocol and it differs from the one Android use. That would explain why you don't get all the functionality. I presume B would have specified this somewhere but it's some so long since I bought mine I don't recall. John -Original Message- From:

It looks like a really impressive service. But there is a lot of talk about Title being in financial difficulty. There were claims in December they only had 6 months working capital. It is thought they came to an already crowded streaming market too late, and their premium service is pitched at
