I've waited this long so its not going to hurt to wait a little longer.

Yes it can. Just
Okay so then you could use rechargeable batteries with the recorder in a
fassion by using a small Powerbank.

Ah yeah that's why I even got rechargeables in the first place. For my
H6. Dude even with 12 valts of phantum that thing eats batteries. Well
mine did at least. I don't know. I'm loving my H6 though. It's an
awesome recorder. I've used my Audio-Technica AT-8022 with phantum power

Yes it can. Just tell it in the USB Connection Menu you want to use it
for AC. Then to it's cable connect 1 of them little boxes like at the
end of an IPhone cable, and there ya go. What I'm not sure of is when
you use it with the PC if it uses the USB power then. But yes it can
draw AC wall po
Well again that simple answer is very general the voltage difference is
such between rechargeable batteries and Alkaline that my DAT recorder just
won’t run on Rechargeable Batteries, a shame because if any product could
really use rechargeable batteries then the DAT could but they won’t work s
Just out of interest can the LS-14 be powered from its USB port assuming it has
one? I don’t own one so don’t know.

Up to the individual I guess but I’ll give you one reason why I wouldn’t use

Firstly rechargeable batteries have a lower voltage than do Alkaline batteries
so their’s no guarantee that the appliance fitted with rechargeable batt
Yeah thanks. Just figured I'd make sure. I had thought of calling
Olympus some how but meh who knows if they give a darn for the 14
anymore. The 1 that's really too bad they got rid of was the LS-100
though. That thing was epic. Just complete it with the LS-14's smart mode.

Simple answer is probably.
However, rechargeable batteries are a lower voltage than regular, and
theoretically a crucial recording could be corrupted or truncated if the unit
drained too much power.
This is very unlikely, you are more likely to find that during playback, at
full volume, the un
Hi. It's alright to use NIMH batteries in the Olympus LS-14 right?
Because according to Neal the Manual says Alqualine. Like Neal said
though it doesn't say NIMH won't work, but I will tell ya they do. It's
just Olympus says to use alkaline. How hard core should 1 listen to
that? Obviously too
