stereo wav file via the sdpif coaxial output of the first card. How can
I do that with aplay?
I have tried:
aplay wavfile.wav
but there is no sound at all...

When does a application use the SPDIF output?

- via the normal pcm device (hw:0,0):
set up the correct parameters, 44100 or 48000 Hz, S16 LE 2 channels,
