Hi,
I'm running alsa-driver-0.9.1 on a RH 8.1 (Phoebe) machine. The driver,
lib and utils all compile and install fine - but trying to run modprobe
snd gives the following:
/lib/modules/2.4.20-2.24/kernel/sound/acore/snd.o: unresolved symbol
schedule_work
/lib/modules/2.4.20-2.24/kernel/sound/ac
Hello !
Are midi_synth work on Audigy soundcard with ALSA (using SF2-soundfonts) ?
Or it work on SBLive! only ?
I have some SF2-soundfonts, size 65-110 MBytes, use now with TiMidity and iiwusynth.
Please help me.
Best regards,
Roman.

Hi,
i also had problems with my Hoontech Digital XG i-Phone.
I had to use alsamixer to unmute, set the levels and
(most important) set "Capture" for the Line-In AND Capture
channel.

Hi!
I have just downloaded the stable release 0.9.1 of the alsa-driver and compiled
it succesfully.
But when I do "make install", the following message appears:

hello,
i recently got a terratec ews88mt and got it working with the help of the
alsa mailing lists archives and of course due to the very nice work of
the alsa programmers out there (thank you for it!), but i am still not
able to output sound to the 3.5mm headphone (or line out, whatever) jack

Hi list,
I have a cs4624 chip on my 7.1 card. But I can only use the first 4 analog outs. I
think the
third subdevice is for the digital out. With this facts i would think that alsa can't
use the
other four channels, but in alsamixer i have a Center1 and a LFE slide.
What must I do to use t

Does the Emu10K1 show up with lspci?
Are you using a recent version of ALSA (such as 0.9.1)?

Hi all,
I'm trying to tie three different sound cards together with the multi plugin :
- 1 x ice1712 (8 channels - not counting spdif)

However, when trying to play a sound with aplay -D mplug, I get the
