Using KDE 3, I always found that I had to run /usr/sbin/alsactl restore
to get the sound to work after booting.
However, I added a start-up sound for KDE, and now I find that the sound
works without me having to manually restore it.
Is there something missing in my installation?

Hi,
Is there a changelog available for new releases?? I've searched through
the whole site but wasn't able to find any. And the news list gives very
few info. In fact, release 0.9.3c wasn't even listed. And now 0.9.4 is out
but no info at all.
I am hoping for support for my Terratec Aureon Space
Can anyone tell me how to do this?
Thanks

I once had a system working quite nicely with an

Hi,
For hardware synth on SB Live you must load soundfond to it.
Use command:
sfxload soundfile.sf2
where soundfile.sf2 is name for soundfond (for example ct2mgm.sf2 -
this is in windows drivers).
In RedHat 9 it is in package awesfx-0.4.3a-14.i386.rpm on cd 2.
