Sorry if the other one still makes it past the mod.
When I try to run alsamixer after installing alsa-driver, alsa-libs, and
alsa-utils for RH 9 (from source) I get this error:
alsamixer: function snd_ctl_open failed for default: No such file or
direct
(resolved, not solved...)
Welp, I solved my problem by going back to 0.9.0rc6, which I determined
was the version I had working before (never delete anything is my
motto). It worked first time after a dead-stock installation. It also
works simultaneously with linmodem HSF drivers, so it wasn't any
You could try unloading the ALSA modules and then plugging in the
Extigy. That's the only way my Audiophile USB will work.
