Hi,
I've been playing with ALSA for the past couple of weeks, mostly to get
GnomeMeeting working (the OSS driver for my chip doesn't support full
duplex).
When I play music using OSS emulation, everything sounds great
(incidentally, the sound is much richer than when using the OSS
drivers).
Hi!
I searched in Alsa's site and i couldn´t find support for the ALC655 chip.
I need to make the digital ouput from my onboard soundard (GIGABYTE KT400
with realtek ALC655) work. Anyone knows if Alsa supports it (even
unofficialy?)
Thanks in advance!
Hernan

the PCM and the Master volumes of this ac97 codec likely support the

I know this has been asked before, but I didn't find an answer that
solved the problem for me.
So here is my question: Is there anybody out there with a working Midi
input from a ST Audio DSP24 card? If so, could you please give me a hint
how you got it working?
I´m running alsa 0.9.4 from

Problem solved. There's a switch for SB Live Analog/Digital Output Jack
that I need to have set to Off, and suddenly four speaker output works.

Hi all,
I've had an interesting discussion with a professor and a distinguished
member of the electroacoustic music community regarding audio latencies
which made me realize that I did not understand the issue in its
entirety. Hence, I looked around the net in order to educate myself.
