Hallo NG,
I've got some problems with my VIA 8235 soundcard using the kernel
version 2.6.0 drivers.
Sound is working, but the mixer is pretty confusing:
I'm only able to mute the soundcard, anything else does not work.
How can I solve this problem?

I'm currently using an SBLive! Value (original bog-standard

seem to load it. :/
My current configure command is as follows:
./configure \

Hi,
I have bought a Audigy 2 NX USB sound card in order to get 5.1 sound and
AC3 pass-through with my Dell Inspiron 8200. However, the card doesn't
really work... :(
This is what I get when I try to just play a sound with aplay:

I have the Aureon Space but not the TV-Card. I'm also confused about all
the regulation in alsamixer. I can just tell you that I found the
following:

"Simple mixer control 'IEC958',1" and HW1 and HW2. If the values are not
Hi!
I have a Fujitsu-Siemens Amilo D 8830 laptop with a Intel-onboard soundcard. Most
information can be found here about the laptop (it's not a 7830, but they're almost
the same except 8830:s have faster CPU and more memory):

My computer is based on the Intel 845G chipset.

Unfortunally, i can't get the joystick gameport working with the current drivers
that comes with kernel 2.6.0. But, it happens only with ALSA drivers, and the
(obsolete) OSS drivers, work with the joystick gameport. More
