Does "sense error" means Media-Error, so the Media is destructive? Maybe. It may also mean the drive just didn't feel like being nice to you today. I'd try: * Rewinding and trying again. * Retensioning the tape, if that's an option. * Cleaning the drive. * Going on a long vacation
