I'm currently trying to get Amanda working with a TL891 Compaq Tape Library. The library has 26 tape slots and 2 DLT drives. There is a special device file (/etc/mc10c) that other programs (such as the Compaq provided robot program) use to access the tape library. Each DLT drive has a device

Does anyone know why the chg-scsi would be missing from the libexec directory? I just happen to notice that it didn't seem to get built and installed properly. Are there additional steps I need to take to activate this part of AMANDA? Thanks, Rob

I'm currently trying to get Amanda running on my Compaq Tru 64 UNIX system and seem to be having a problem with user permissions. I understand that a typical AMANDA configuration uses a user other than root, however I haven't found much information (maybe I'm not looking in the right place)
