module where the two L/S ARISS band antennas that were installed before
launch

Now that it is understood that there is a 3 second
tail after each transmission and audio will cut off
after that time has expired, ways to get around the
problem can be devised.
Pretty cool stuff. Probably the most expensive dual bander
ever installed. Neat watching it also. They are routing the coax now.

ISS has some very nice visible passes over us during
these days.
Just looked at the pass with AOS at 1540 UTC here from
Copenhagen. No clouds for a change :-)
Max. elevation for this pass for me was 36 degrees.

should try timing their transmissions to coincide with the tail dropping. By
doing that, I got in twice, briefly, on this pass between 3:35 and 3:50 into

To follow up on this information. In the past I have tried to email several TF
hams about satellites. Thanks John for this information. AO-51 is out the
footprint for the W. coast. However AO-7 can cover it. Perhaps we can
encourage our TF friends to give it a try
In my 45 years of haming, I can recall ONE QSO, back in my days on HF AM,
with somebody using NBFM. Until last weekend, I had completely forgotten
that the FT-847 has a button for that, and of course SATPC32 supports it as

You are assuming that Icom would have the menu allow different settings
for each band. It still might need to be reset when changing bands.

listen to it carefully, the switch picks a relay, do you hear the relay
click? no ? clean the switch and look and the soldering/wiring to the
switch, yes ?you do hear the click then its from the relay to the back, look
closely at the relay contacts to the pc board and the wiring.

I am assuming WISP will work with the AO-51 BBS once I get it

I have a question about the timers on SO-67. Their configuration to drop out
after a few seconds unless you transmit immediately after or upon a previous
station, was that done purposely or is this a software configuration issue.
What would be the purpose of setting the transponder to act this
