Hello Paul,
you didn't purchase the wrong radio, hi.
SatPC32 supports CAT control of the IC-821H. A friend of mine and I myself
used the IC-821H for several years. I have just tested CAT control of this
radio once again under Windows 7, 32-bit, and Vista, 64-bit. CAT control
works flawlessly.
Hello all, wonder if any of you have come across this.
In the FAQ for LOTW (very last item) there's a list of supported
satellites. SO-67 is on the list.
However when I want to sign the .adi that contains my SO-67 contacts I get:
Error: Invalid SAT_NAME (SO-67) on line 22
My .adi is an export
Should've googled first! A new config file (tq6?) was necessary.
What boggles my mind is that I reinstalled TQSL with the latest
distribution yesterday. Guess that config file is not in that distro?
And nothing applicable returned on tq6 or configuration file in
the FAQ?
Anyway sorry for the

This sounds more like a problem with the calibration pot(s) within the
control box. The control box has a set for the meters and another set
for the digital/computer control of the rotator. I would expect the
meters to also read incorrectly if the pot in the rotor was a problem.

Hi all,
SO-67 is on over Europe this week.
You can see the planned times on:
http://www.amsatsa.org.za/
For the best result try to use normal FM but turn the mike gain down until
your audio sounds good.
Do not use the CTCSS tone.

Hi Kevin,
You may want to check K8YSE's web site. John has current recordings of LEO
passes and a bunch of other useful info.
I think it is: www.papay.com (or just Google 'k8yse')

Hi Kevin,
I think I remember hearing you on a pass a few weeks ago, but I can’t
remember the exact pass. If you keep a log of what passes you have been on,
go to K8YSE's website and see if a recording is there:

Looking it over it looks like it will run under WINE or CrossOver. I have
had it install under CrossOver on OSX just fine, but until ARISSat-1 is
launched I don't know if it'd run into soundcard issues or not, but even if
it does the software is capable of processing uncompressed WAV files.

The ARISSat-1 team is still working on the first release version of the
BPSK-1000 software.
We hope to release a version within the next week. The PC version is only
running on XP at the moment. There will be a Mac version also.
There will a wav file available to test the operation.
