up, why not stream on the output and only transmit ctcss when there is
voice trafic, that would be simpler to implement on all repeater sites
and not just the ones that use 2 transievers.
And to get back on topic of this list, that would also work on cubesats.

it's not likely to be a mic-e packet because it is not an UI frame but an UA
frame, in this case an ackowladge to a SABM frame or connect request.
RK3KPK connected the digi, but that does not solve who RK3KPK is and why he

The Flex 5000 with their 2m/70cm board would make a fantastic rig,
albeit at a price (3500 ish?) but is in the neighborhood of the 9100.
The IC-290/IC-490 are older ssb rigs, but they'd work pretty well, too.

The problem with these definitions is that the ITU defines all radio
users as services, even CB falls under land mobile services.

I think answering 59 please repeat all details is dumb but I
don't go around making my personal opinion superior to any other, if
they are happy doing it fine, the hobby is big enough to allow all

This pass just gone 09h58 UTC and the previous one at 08h22 UTC both had
packet or APRS ? over the 145.950 Arissat SSTV. This last pass was just LOS
when the packet tx was again and only ISS
was still visable at my QTH.
I have recordingds but no decode of that PKT yet.

One advantage of the weak but useable uplink, it will be much less
likely that high erp stations
of the problems that happened. I suppose this is a
good lesson for kids, that nothing in space should be taken for granted.
This failed to be deployed once before? So a lesson to learn.

From what I can read they are using ISM rules, for earth bound
transmitters these would indeed be licence free *but* I do have my
