The video you saw could have been one of many of the same type of videos.
NASA conducts many PAO contacts for news media. It sounds like that is what
you saw. Try looking on the NASA website. If you know the expedition number
you may find it in the archives.

Keep in mind that those videos while involving students are not ARISS
contacts. ARISS is audio only. NASA has a similar program they operate

Everyone has given good information. Let me add a couple of other
suggestions specifically about ISS. We are using the Erickson radio (
basically an HT) in the Columbus Module. This is due to a fault with the
Kenwood D-700. Maximum output on the Erickson is 5 watts. The radio is
