Hi
After reading various posts I decided that having time one my hands at the
moment, I would like to volunteer to help out in whatever capacity I can. I
think being able to help build a satellite is probably out of my league. But
I could help out collating information and updating websites etc. I
Thanks for the replies. Since I am in the UK I have contacted Jim off list

Hi David
Sadly no I don't have any 2m design experience, my design experience is
mostly high voltage switch mode PSU for powering Traveling Wave Tubes, and
the microcontroller based management systems for controlling high power

WB9SBD plans to fly a very large balloon. He wants to reach hopefully
250,000 ft. and make the balloon a floater i.e. for it not to burst.
I thought this might be an opportunity for AMSAT. To fly a transponder or
other payload.

I don't know what I am doing wrong but so far I have failed to hear FUNCUBE
let alone decode.
I seem to have the correct keps as I see station near me uploading.
Am using a radio not a dongle 145.935MHz USB mode is what I am using as
settings. Is that correct or have I made a mistake
not hearing the satellite let alone getting to decode, I did
perhaps think I had got confused about the frequency and radio mode.
Thanks very much for the reply though for the useful info

Easy enough to do, I needed to do this for an app that expected a hardware
TNC.
So I asked the Author of Dire Wolf to include a KISS over IP option.
All you need is HW VSP which is free for a single port version.
Connect that to Dire Wolf via IP port 8001
