I know one thing. I just recently installed a 5500 and a seperation kit with 4
ft. seperation between rotors. I calibrated both rotors at north/zero degrees
and installed the antennas. With the antennas mounted and elevation moved to 45
degrees, the antennas moved down 45 degrees towards ground
Has anyone heard the AO-10 beacon?
The sat is in full sunlight until July 24.
Is the beacon signal a very slow QSB as was the downlink?

I built my LVB up from the bare board which I ordered from G6LVB direct in the
early days. It was a fun home brew project. Mine is bare bones. It has no
display and no buttons. It just sits inside a Radio Shack box and does its
thing day after day. If you look at my unit, the PCB just has enough

What kind of plug/jacks are being used on these cables?
It looks like SMC.
I've lost lock on one of the modules and want to do some troubleshooting.

Let me assure you. Your LVB tracker Version 1.2 is still doing a fine job. The
very stripped down version I built with only the PIC16F876, MAX232 and 2N3904s

before it gave out and I had to upgrade to a 5500. Since the Wilson had no

and easy to find.
Also most downlink signals are concentrated and very strong around 435.850 +/-

After many years, I homebrewed polarity switching into my old 2 meter KLM
antenna. The switching/matching system is made up of the matching coax, relay,
printed circuit board (PCB), and the baluns.
Here are several options.
1. Try to save the old hardware.
2. Split the antennas.

I've noticed the time sync problem on VO-52 (LEO) and especially doing downlink
telemetry from MASAT-1 (LEO). The satellite is moving very fast so if your
computer clock is off, your antennas will not be at the correct position. Since
